Stocks On The Move Following JP Morgan Global Technology, Media And Telecom Conference

The JP Morgan 43rd Annual Global Technology, Media and Telecom Conference is being held this week in Boston, and traders are watching the big tech names that are participating in this year’s conference.

This year’s event had some big names lined up, and traders have been listening for any market-moving news.

Mayer Headlines

The conference kicked off on Tuesday with a keynote speech by Yahoo! Inc. (NASDAQ: YHOO)’s Marissa Mayer. Yahoo shareholders have has a bumpy couple of days.

may not have moved the stock much, but fears related to the taxes involves with a potential spinoff of Yahoo’s position in Alibaba Group Holding Ltd BABA 1.91% tanked the stock in late trading on Tuesday. Yahoo’s stock has bounced back more than 3.6 percent on Wednesday.
