3D Systems Corporation DDD 5.65%, the leader in three-dimensional printing, recently announced the release of its mobile iSense 3D scanner for Apple Inc. AAPL 0.3%‘s iPhone 6 and 6 Plus.

iSense, which has been previously available for iPad, is a popular 3D scanning tool which allows users to capture, edit, and print 3D images quickly and easily.

Design Features

As with the iPad, iSense for iPhone features image capture technology developed by Occipital and interfaces with the 3D systems software app for image editing and processing. The iSense scanner attaches easily to the back of the iPhone via a custom case designed by Cubify, a division of 3D Systems.
