The latest data from TickerTags indicates that Netflix, Inc. NFLX 3.84% has found another big hit in its new original sci-fi thriller “Stranger Things.”
TickerTags monitors social media sites to identify trends by searching for words and phrases that appear together in social media content, such as tweets.
Social media is buzzing about “Stranger Things,” which is set in a small Indiana town in 1983 and stars Winona Ryder. In fact, peak social conversations about “Stranger Things” have topped peak social mentions of hit Netflix documentary series “Making a Murderer” by 37 percent.
In fact, social media mentions of “Stranger Things” are roughly on-par with mentions of Netflix hits “House of Cards” and “Jessica Jones.” Peak mentions of “Stranger Things” have so far not reached…
