FAA Clears Amazon Drones To Fly In U.S. Airspace

Amazon.com, Inc. AMZN 1.41% has gained approval from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to begin test flights of drones in U.S. airspace, according to a new report by Reuters. Amazon hopes to eventually be able to make deliveries to customers using drones to carry packages by air.

After early success in Manhattan, Amazon.com, Inc. AMZN 0.51% announced that it will be expanding its Prime Now one-hour delivery service to Baltimore and Miami. Amazon Prime members can use Prime Now to get daily essential items delivered to their doorsteps within 60 minutes using the Prime Now mobile app.
