These 4 Stocks Finished The Week At All-Time Highs

The U.S. markets finished off a great week with a strong day of Friday trading. The S&P 500 jumped nearly 19 points on Friday and closed the week up nearly 2.7 percent.

Several big stocks made new all-time highs on Friday, including these four names:

Facebook Inc FB 1.27%

Facebook stock has been on fire lately, trading up every day this week. Facebook tacked on a 1.2 percent gain Friday to finish the week at new all-time highs.

Traders may be looking ahead to the company’s F8 developer conference next week. Facebook traded up 7.4 percent for the week, and is up more than 25 percent in the past year.

Biogen Idec Inc BIIB 9.76%

Biogen Idec shares also made new all-time highs on Friday after presenting positive results from Phase 1b testing of aducanumab on patients with prodromal or mild Alzheimer’s disease.

Biogen presented the results at the 12th International Conference on Altzheimer’s and Parkinson’s Diseases and Related Neurological Disorders in France on Friday.

Biogen Idec stock closed up 9.7 percent on the day and 15.1 percent on the week.

Nike Inc NKE 3.72%

Nike popped to the tune of 3.7 percent on Friday on the strength of strong earnings numbers. Nike’s latest surge takes the stock to new all-time highs as well.

Nike stock was up more than 6.4 percent this week and is up nearly 25 percent in the past six months.

Walgreens Boots Alliance Inc WBA 1%

After Deutsche Bank raised its price target for Walgreens on Thursday, the stock climbed 1.0 percent on Friday to new all-time highs.

Overall, Walgreens shares were up about 5.4 percent for the week and are up more than 40 percent in the past six months.

Shareholders of these four stocks will be watching closely next week to see if they continue their momentum higher to new all-time highs.
