LeBron James Gives Teammates Apple Watches Prior To NBA Finals

LeBron James’ 11 assists during the Cleveland Cavaliers’ 95-93 NBA Finals Game 2 victory over the Golden State Warriors certainly demonstrate the four-time MVP’s on-court generosity with the basketball. However, Northeast Ohio Media Group reported this week on just how generous of a teammate “King James” is off the court.

Message To Teammates

According to reports, James rented a lounge in the Four Seasons in San Francisco prior to the start of the NBA Finals to convey a message to his team about the difficulties they would be facing during the finals.

At the center of James’ message were the ideas of solidarity, teamwork and overcoming adversity.

James’ message became eerily relevant following the Cavs’ Game 1 overtime loss, a game in which the team lost All Star Kyrie Irving to injury for the remainder of the Finals.
